The Lectio 365 app and Pray As You Go apps offer guided prayer and devotional time. They are helpful if you’re busy and miss your personal devotional time or if you want to listen during a walk, and they can be downloaded to your phone. Borrowed Prayers

Borrowed prayers can be very helpful when you don’t know what or how to pray. These are prayers that have withstood the test of time because they are imbued with very good theology and help us to pray in ways and for things we probably wouldn’t on our own. To experiment with borrowed prayers in your own devotional time, click the button below to see some tried and true ones. Praying borrowed prayers can at first seem rote or dry, but if we persevere, the words get into us and begin to stir our hearts for God, giving us new ways to converse with him.
